          Questions and answers

          Which resolution should I choose?

150 DPI is right for screens and WhatsApp. Choose 300 DPI for printing or when you need to zoom into small text.

          JPG or PNG?

JPG gives smaller files and suits photos. PNG keeps text and lines perfectly sharp but files are larger.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Every conversion runs inside your own browser, so your files stay on your device. The only exception is when you choose “Email”: then the finished file is sent once to the address you type, and we don't keep a copy.

          Is it really free?

Yes. PDFSorted is free to use with no sign-up and no watermark. The site is supported by ads.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. It works in any modern browser on Android, iPhone, Windows, Mac and Linux. On phones you can also use Share to send the file straight to WhatsApp, Gmail or another app.
